  31. I don't have my PAR any more (using Broadcaster now) but if I
  32. remember correctly the PAR software can export in a native
  33. format. So use that format and move them to a regular partition, 
  34. then reimport them as an animation. I think you can do all this from 
  35. the PAR software's interface. This should avoid decompression 
  36. and recompression quality loss.

  42. ImageFX 2.1 will load and save PAR images, but you do go through
  43. a decompression/recompression step when you do this. On the other
  44. hand you get access to a lot of image processing and effects. But
  45. I don't know of any program that's really geared toward _editing_
  46. that will let you play with PAR files directly.

  48. If you really are tending toward complex editing, you might want 
  49. to move to a Flyer or Broadcaster (if you're using an Amiga).
  50.  
  51. If you're mostly doing anim layback, viewing and rotoscoping, the PAR 
  52. still offers the best integration with LightWave on the Amiga.
